SENIOR UNDERWRITER

Responsibilities include underwriting CONV, FHA & VA loans. Ideal candidate must have knowledge of loan products and investor compliance standards. Prefer 3-5 years underwriting experience in the mortgage industry. Excellent communication and customer services skills as well as DE & VA LAPP required.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:

Evaluate, analyze and form opinions for approving or denying business banking and/or commercial loan applications according to business unit standards in a timely manner
Gather information as necessary to make sound decisions
Respond to internal and external customer inquiries
Perform other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and business unit
Recommend exceptions based on findings
May have authority to approve loans beyond the organizations guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of underwriting with extensive knowledge and proficiency at all levels.
Must have FHA VA, USDA and agency loan experience.
Must have Direct Endorsement and VA automatic designations.
Strong communication skills required.
Strong computer skills a must.

SENIOR LOAN PROCESSOR

Responsibilities include processing CONV, FHA & VA loans. Ideal candidate must have knowledge of loan products and investor compliance standards. Prefer 3-5 years processing experience in the mortgage industry. Excellent communication and customer services skills as well as DU & LP experience required.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:

Review, verify, update, log and process loan applications
Prepare disclosures and notices
Present application packages to underwriting for consideration
Respond to internal customer inquiries
Order required verifications and subsequent follow ups
Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Must be a self directed professional.
A minimum of four years of experience in conventional, FHA and VA processing.
Experienced using DU and LP.
Familiar with Calyx Point and Microsoft Office.

The Senior Loan Officer’s primary responsibility is to provide exceptional service to clients and referral partners by offering mortgage-based solutions. They are responsible for managing and setting expectations for each and every client in their pipeline. They serve as the point-person for each Client and work in partnership to fulfill each request with the Processing, Credit Policy, and Closing Departments.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years mortgage banking experience.
A demonstrated record of excellence in customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough working knowledge of prequalification principles and practices.
Understanding of industry underwriting guidelines and pricing models.
Strong PC proficiency and excellent time management skills.

MORTGAGE PRODUCTION SALES MANAGER

Mission Mortgage of Texas, Inc. is seeking an experienced and qualified Mortgage Production Sales Manager to lead our retail sales division in Austin Texas.

Job Description:

The Mortgage Production Sales Manager works closely with management, marketing, and support to create and implement initiatives and campaigns aimed at increasing sales volume among our retail production staff. In addition, this person is responsible for generating and converting leads and managing their own client base, including full ownership of the loan process for their customers. Through outside referral sources, they will provide information to customers concerning pricing and products to guide and convince prospective/existing customers to apply for a loan. They serve as the point-person for each Client and work in partnership to fulfill each request with the Processing, Credit Policy, and Closing Departments.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years mortgage banking experience.
A demonstrated record of excellence in customer service.
Management experience in the residential lending industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough understanding of lead generation and prospecting.
Ability to coach and mentor retail production staff to improve performance.
Understanding of industry underwriting guidelines and pricing models.
Strong PC proficiency and excellent time management skills.
